In the last time, when I press F12 in the Altap Salamander to disconnect networks shares I always get the warning that some files are still open. A few weeks ago this was not the case. I'm not sure whether the update to 2.51 caused this issue or another software.

Do other users have always the same ...

OK, did not know, that it is already there.

It would be nice, if Servant Salamander could be launched with a directory or file as command line parameter, which causes S2 to change into that directory or preselect the file.

This esp. could be useful as an external tool from an IDE.

A few years ago one would wrote "Sie" and "Ihr" upper case even inside the sentence, but this behaviour is gone.
No, no, no! "sie" is equal to "they" and "ihr" to "their", but "Sie" means "you" and "Ihr" means "your". These are completely different things and must not be mixed unless the sentence ...

That's fully right, but then you also need to change "ihr" to "Ihr".

Thanks, that works, but why? Am I right:

- if the pattern contains at least one period, the right period will be trimmed and searched exactly
- if the pattern does not contain a period, 2S searches for "*<pattern>*"?

Example:

I want to search for CVS directories. But unfortunately 2S also finds directories, which have "cvs" anywhere in the name.

Maybe there is already a possibility to search for the exact name - I just did not found one. If there is none, please add the ability. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a problem with the splash-screen. Servant Salamander is the first application which starts and the last which is shut down (hence my RFE for adding an autostart-option to the installer). Even if I need a second instance, it's OK for me to see the splash screen for a 1/4 second.

Unfortunately, it's just a fake. When I'm using my Mac mini, it's a nightmare without Servant Salamander...

ALT+F1 or ALT+F2 = choose an other drive
I don't use it any more, because changing drives can be done with Shift+<drive-letter>.
To change the path to a definition: Shift+<digit>.

Very often I use Alt+Ins to copy the full path to the clipboard, e.g. when adding attachments to emails.
