post screenshots of your servant salamander in action
i'll start with mine, it's a bit colorful but i'm quite happy with it. i'm currently using dark visual style (though not every program supports such thing correctly) and i'm happy altap made beta 11 more dark theme friendly (using default font color instead of black one for arrows, bottom toolbar's buttons etc.). now only if i could get rid of those '3d' lines in directory / information line and top toolbars. more support for visual styles (skinned menus, pop-up menus and toolbars) would be great.

this one is off-topic ... animated picture of music player i use - foobar2000:
jan perhac, i can see you have changed quite a few icon resources . i have small problem with folder icons in salamander, it uses standard windows' ones instead of my custom ones (which i can see in explorer and other places). what should i do?
beta wrote:Very cool. Where can I find this settings for foobar?
atm it's not really easy to exchange all visual settings for foobar, though the playlist view is using only slightly modified Navigator suite by Lyx for columns ui. it can be find at hydrogenaudio foobar's forums. visual style is modified Half Life 2 (from deviantart). foobar is great player for ppl willing to invest time to learn it. more screenshots from foobar users here. and my older screenshot.

Thanks, its like estetic feeling.
I am so accustomed to SS shortcuts that don't need buttons nearly at all. If there was possibility (like Firefox Compact Menu extension) to collapse all menu items under one button.
