I found that running AS 3.0 as Administrator did not show any mapped drives in the drive list but running without Administrator rights did show them. This is a contrast to what I experienced with AS 2.54 running as Administrator which is a PITA as I now have to run a second copy of AS 3 with Adminis...

Strange, I always ran 2.54 on Windows 7 as Administrator and the mapped drives were shown.
Guess I'll have to live with that.

The msg file saved from Outlook (2010 in my case) is a compound document with many streams so a viewer for this would, to my mind, be quite difficult to implement.

Have you tried Beyond Compare from Scooter Software ? We use that extensively (in a non-AS scope and in conjunction with SourceGear Fortress) and it is great.
