When using firebug console to view js errors on newly developed web-pages, links to the line in the relevant js file appear on the right hand side of the console.
Files are located on remote server with full access via Winscp sftp.
When clicking Assigned editor for js-files (Aptana) opens a temporary file located on Windows in scp folder instead of remote file.
Is it possible to adjust any setting so that the link goes back to the file on the original server ?

Re: Temporary instead of remote js file opened (WinSCP)
1) How is this connected to Altap Salamander? Wouldn't this question have better chance of answering over at the WinSCP forums?
2) How did you set up Firebug to open JS files in WinSCP and Aptana? If I open a file from Firebug in an external editor, I get a temporary file in 'fbtmp' folder.
3) Since Aptana is able to work with remote files by itself (according to a quick Google search I did), woudn't it be better to set up the SFTP connection there, instead of using WinSCP?
4) If you're editing a remote file using WinSCP, it has to download the file to your hard drive, so the editor can work with it. Every time you save the file, WinSCP uploads the changed file back to the remote location. That's probably why you see the temporary file in Aptana.
In case I got your question wrong, please provide a more detailed explanation, possibly with screenshots.

1. In Firebug you can configure editors and add editor - you can also specify url to open.
2. You are probably right that this could better be solved outside Altap Salamander.
I am seeing from the documentation that remote file editing must be done with WinSCP and not Altap.
OK - I'll proceed with this question elsewhere.
