I am using Windows 11 Pro 64bit and Salamander 4.0 (x64). I would like my Salamander configuration to show a common display every time it comes up. I found the Options > Configuration > Save configuration on exit. I can uncheck this option. However, when I restart Salamander, it comes up again with the latest configuration. And going to the option again shows that the option is now checked again. Any fix for this, or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, you are Because this configuration change has not been saved when Salamander exited, exactly as you wished. So, after unchecking this option, you need to save the configuration manually by clicking Options > Save Configuration
