Crash of AS 2.53
Posted: 20 Jul 2010, 15:02

When I try to open a file via an application defined in the User Menu (Video, Text File), AS crashes.
This happens when the fullpath of file is too long.
Thanks
Eric

Thank you Eric. Could you please show us exactly the User Menu command, parameters, paths, file names, so we can try to reproduce it?

Here is a screen dump.
It doesn't really matter which values, I tried to change the arguments or inital directory. I used another command (notepad++).
Same crash.
Thanks

Thank you. It looks pretty normal. So the problem is in long path where you are starting the user menu command?
How long is this path?

About 280 chars. When I try to rename the file, I get a warning because "of too long name".
