Crash with Humyo

Post by wguggen »

Hi !

With the latest version (2.2.0.9) of Humyo client (online harddisk http://www.humyo.com) I can`t start Salamander V2.52 and also the new beta.
I always get at start the error:

I|272| 0|Salamander|7444| 4|Snooper |03.03.2010|17:50:22.405|161543.764 |X:\ALTAP\PETR\SALAMAND\SNOOPER.CPP | 52|Begin
I|272| 0|Salamander|1988| 0|Main |03.03.2010|17:50:22.452|161591.351 |X:\ALTAP\PETR\SALAMAND\SHICONOV.CPP| 94|InitShellIconOverlays(): GetOverlayInfo method returns error for: HumyoConflict

and the Salamander application hangs forever.
No Spash screnn or somthing else.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks
Willi

So Salamander doesn't crash?

What Windows are you using?

With "new beta" you mean Altap Salamander 2.53 beta 1 (Preview Build 44) from Early Access Program?

Yes, my stable "old" and the new beta 2.53 beta 1 (Preview Build 44) fails.
The trace is from the beta!

As a test, use ShellExView to disable the humyo shell extension & see if the hangs persist.

When I disable the shell extension, nothings happens. Start fails but ...
when I stop the humyo service with the task manager, AS starts without any problems!

AS is my favorit and every day used tool, but humyo ist my backup solution. So what ? :-)
Perhaps I have a license for AS ! :D

Did you use AS and Humyo service before?

The title of this thread is "Crash with Humyo". Does AS crash?

What do you mean with "Perhaps I have a license for AS !"?

Note only: works fine with Windows XP and AS 2.52.

wguggen, please stop the Humyo service, start Altap Salamander and show us screenshot of the following window (Options > Configuration > Icon Overlays):

I have found the problem :-)

I have updated the humyo client and install a new subversion client called smartSVN (http://www.syntevo.com/smartsvn/index.html).
I saw some smartSVN entries in the custom icon handler window.
Now I have tried to uninstall smartSVN and all is working fine !!!
Humyo and AS works fine same as bevor !!!!!

Sorry for the circumstance.
AS ist the most used tool an my pc an I have certainly a licence.

Great work, great support !
Thanks for all.

Do you have another overlay icon handlers installed besides Humyo and smartSVN?
Could you show us the mentioned dialog box?

Could you please clarify the thread subject? Does Salamander crash???

Unfortunately you didn't help us, because you didn't provide us information we need to fix this problem. Answering my questions would help us...
