Order of Working Directories

Post by mdruiter »

I use the List of Working Directories (Alt+F12) an awful lot, and I love it. During a working day, I visit many, many different locations, and the list allows me to find them quickly. However...
I cannot understand the order of the remembered directories. Many times, recently used directories are not in the list.
It appears to me, that if I select an entry in the list, the entry stays at the old position. That way, new directories will be appended at the top, and the frequently visited directories will be kicked out of the list. :?
Writing this, it sounds a lot like my other posting: http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3708
Also tested with PB44.

To keep Working Directory List usable we put only "dirty" dirs there. With dirty we mean directory you worked with (viewed file there, created directory, etc). Recent dirty directories are on the top of this list.

If you mean that a directory should jump to the top of the list as soon as I view a file there: that does not work for me.
How can I help investigating this issue?

Wait, maybe I just cannot follow the logic. I think it does work: it jumps to the top of the list, except not immediately.
If I encounter any issues, I will investigate and post again.
