Cancelled Unpack continues

Post by mdruiter »

I noticed cancelling the Unpack command does not always cancel unpacking immediately. Here's how:
- I had a .7z file containing two folders of files
- I selected both folders using Insert
- I pressed F5 to copy them to some network folder (in the other panel)
- after a few seconds (still copying the first folder) I realized it was the wrong destination, so I pressed Esc
- to the question "Do you want to cancel this operation?", I answered Yes (Enter)
After that, the unpacking continued for quite some time (more than 10 seconds), and both Esc and the Cancel button did not work any more.
When the unpacking stopped, it turned out that files from both folders had been unpacked, but only with certain extensions: all files with bin, cls, gif, jpg, png and two thirds of sql. The 31 other extensions were skipped.

It may be by design...?
I am using version 2.52 beta 1.
Hope this helps!
Groente, Michel.
