UNC - credentials not accepted in format DOMAIN\user

Post by Arie »

When I attempt to connect to a remote server drive via UNC the credentials are not accepted when I use the following syntax: domain\user.

The error I receive is: "(1326) Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password"

If I first connect with Windows Explorer (using domain\user) I can connect without a problem in Salamander.

However, if I use user@domain I am able to connect from Salamander right away.

Hi, try to download this fixed Salamander version and let us know if it works. (Installation: You should overwrite your Salamand.exe with the fixed one)

Hi,

Had a hard time reading through the original thread(!) but the fixed version works great for me.

Thanks,
Richard
