Maybe I overlooked it, but is it possible to use another file comparator (external tool) when two files are selected into two different or the same panels?

I was aware of adding an external tool, but what I still lack is hotkey association. any other ideas?

Just press F9 and then press first letter of your new command in User Menu or use cursor keys. You can merge these two steps into one hotkey using external hotkey tool. Or click on icon on User Menu Bar.
