view html-file via linkage to said html-file

I'm not sure where to locate my (crazy) question

Is it possible to use salamander i.e. its built in viewers to view a html-file by establishing a linkage to the said html-file and then double clicking this link?

Internal viewers could be activated only using File > View commands (for example with the F3 key).

Unfortunately it is not possible to open viewers with double-clicking files.
