Icon Index and Title Prefix command line options

I used the Icon Index and Title Prefix command line options and found out that AS saves these settings as though set from the options dialog.

I'd like to be able to use these command line options for "special cases", which means this should not be propagated to newly started instances after the special one has been closed (i.e. not be saved to the registry when set from the command line)

Yeah, it does really do that. I'd prefer the same as SvA.

(I gather you're speaking of command line equivalents for the Options | Configuration | Main Window -> Custom text prefix in main window title: & Main window icon, Icon color: ?)

Hi,
I wrote about same problem in Czech part of the forum: Saving Salamander icon set by command prompt? in April with a suggestion to disable saving the configuration by some command prompt switch as was you suggestion in your post http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?p=9737#9737 . Sadly it went without any reply from Altap

I hope the configuration saving discussion will bring some attention to this problem

Both Icon Index and Title Prefix (also new OnlyOneInstance) switches will not change the configuration from AS 2.52b1. When you specify these command line parameters and then change the equivalent options in the Salamander configuration, command line switches will be ignored for the running Salamander.
