Hi,
I miss the option "comparing identical files" only short message, "files identical". It's not nesassary to open the complete file compare tool when
files are identical.

But the File Comparator does the job - it must be opened. If files are identical, you got a message with choose whether to close the window or not. It's (almost) the same you're proposing.

Open a complete window isn't helpful. Which solution would you prefer?

The only "advantage" that I can see, is that it gives you the ability to get to Options | Configuration...

.
In there, there are some options not accessible from the Ctrl+Shift+C dialog.
In other words, there is no real advantage to it working the way it is.

It's only a cosmetic effect. I don't like that in the case of identical file,
popup a large blanc window. I think the compare modul can check the
files first for different. When you use the F2 Button, you wouldn't like
popup a complete blanc window in the background.
It's no big thing, only my feeling.
