Smart Column

I like the Smart Column Mode (ctrl-n) and button; but when it returns to show columns, I still need to scroll a little to see the outside column. This may be because I often have larger than normal fonts. If this is difficult to take into account, I suggest an option to increase (or decrease) the action by a setable percentage. In my case I'd try 12%.

I don't think it is a problem with large fonts, because I don't use large fonts...

1) On the first screenshot no Smart Column Mode is needed...
2) Panel started to use horizontal scrollbars without enabling Smart Column Mode
3) Smart Column Mode started to shorten the filenames, but at a time when all other information is already gone
