When removing an USB stick while it is active in one of the panes, first the usual message appears ('Error Changing Directory'). If confirmed with OK, the Configuration dialog opens, which seems strange (like a fault behaviour) to me.

It is a feature, not a bug

Please look at error message, the path is specified there. This path is not accessible on your computer so Salamander opens configuration dialog box and wrong path is selected. Then you can enter valid path.

From Help:

If path in panel is inaccessible, go to
Specify the path where to go if path in panel becomes inaccessible (you remove medium from CD/DVD drive, network is not available, USB stick is unplugged, etc.).

I already had specified this path in the earlier version since I knew this feature. It seems like upgrading to RC2 did not correctly take over the specified path.
After resetting everything is OK as before.
