When it comes to file managers, I often hear from products like Total Commander. But honestly, I tried TC once, and I was and still am rejected by this awful gui, so I can't really say whether it's good or not. But using SS, I don't want and need to try anything else because I am so used to it. It's lean and fast, extremely versatile and powerful.
I always have SS with me on a USB stick when working on other PCs. Filesearching, copying, deleting just go in a few seconds. Browsing through search results is very handy as well.
Recommending TC or some other file manager software means not knowing SS, at least to me. Yes, I really want to say big thanks to the developer. Hmm, of course you could and should release it, make it final, but I'm using it anyway. And some columns should also be added, like "last access" for example.
And hope many others will join me to support this almost perfect piece of software.
