The internal Viewer (F3) does not show the Euro Symbol (€).
I have it set to Auto-Select and it selects to not convert. However, none of the pages available does show the € symbol.

You must have patched older MS Windows (fonts) to be able to display euro symbol and change internal viewer font (menu Option-configuratio-viewers&editors-internal viewer-font) to one of font MS patched. E.g.: Courier new.

Then (when "not convert" selected) is internal viewer able to display ascii code 128 (hex 80) as euro symbol (tested on XP pro CZ localized version).

This is probably problem with the choosen font. Try to change it to Currier New or Lucida Console, they contain euro symbol. Open viewer window, go to menu Options/Configuration, click the Font button.
