It would be greatly if a directory more player like 1by1 http://mpesch3.de1.cc/1by1.html being integrated in Servant Salamander.

Just add the program to your user menu or as a (alternative) viewer and you get (mostly) what you want. Note however, that as a viewer you need to enter the folder. Selecting it from the parent folder will not work as desired.

Turning Servant Salamander into an all-in-one device suitable for every purpose is not desirable. We do not need yet another bloatware, but a lean tool, well fit for it's purpose, which in Salamander's case is file management.

Once the plugin SDK is out, maybe someone will crate such a player as an optional plugin.

Why integrate such a thing? Take Winamp Lite, Right mouse click on folder -> Play in Winamp

A file manager doesn't need playing mp3-files, keep SS lean and fast! Werner

I don't want Altap Salamander over bloated with this and that. I want superior file manager, which is just focused on the file management. But as an optional plugin? Why not.

Totally agree, if a filemanager turns into a mp3 player as well then the next thing people request is make it a video player. This is a fantastic product don't suggest things which will turn it into crapware. A file manager is a tool to manage file operations and not a media player.

That's it :)
 SS is a FILE-Manager, not a MP3-Manager :?
