SVG support in thumbnail view
SVG support in thumbnail view
It's useful to view directories of images as thumbnails (Alt-5). Are there any plans to support SVG too?

Re: SVG support in thumbnail view
Although the IEViewer plugin can be configured to view SVG files (using the F3 key), none of the plugins currently shipped with Salamander can provide thumbnails of SVG's. The reasons are:Aidan wrote:It's useful to view directories of images as thumbnails (Alt-5). Are there any plans to support SVG too?
1) IEViewer does not provide thumbnails
2) The user cannot specify which plugin should be used to thumbnailize which file format (unlike viewer associations, for example). Personally, I find this a small problem of the GUI.
If I can speak for the Eroiica Viewer plugin, then yes, there exists an experimental SVG viewer (and thus also thumbnailer), but its deployment is unknown at the moment (if ever).

Hi Jan, thanks for the response. I have other programs to display SVG but thumbnails would be useful. In all it's a small limitation.
