I just installed Carbonite, the online backup software. It adds a right-click context menu to Explorer that allows you to choose whether to back up a file or not. Unlike other right-click context menu add-ons, the Carbonite context menu does not appear in Servant Salamander 2.5 RC2 on WinXP SP2.
Hi, does the Carbonite context menu works in open/save dialogs of Notepad/Word/... and other programs? Some context menu extension can restrict themselves to just explorer.exe process.
Ah ha, no, the Carbonite context menu does _not_ appear in File Load/Save dialog boxes. So it appears you are correct, Carbonite must restrict itself to the Explorer.exe process. I wonder if I can change that in the registry?
