I would like to know if it is possible to change quickly between two directories, e.g.
active directory is
d:\projects\Project1\subdir1\subdir2\subdir3\subdir4
change to
d:\projects\Project2\subdir1\subdir2\subdir3\subdir4
Quick Directory Change
Re: Quick Directory Change
Sorry, got out before I was done.
I would like to know if it is possible to quickly change between two directories, e.g.
active directory is
d:\projects\Project1\subdir1\subdir2\subdir3\subdir4
change to
d:\projects\Project2\subdir1\subdir2\subdir3\subdir4
The structure of the sub directories is the same for all project directories.
"Hot Paths" are good to get to the root of each project directory, but that's about it.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated in advance!

These are of course possibilities, which I am also aware and using (Shift+F7), but a pressing just one key combination would be perfect.Datalog wrote:What about Shift+F7 (change directory) and overwrite Project1 to Project2?
Fastest I know.
Or if switching really often and not using clipboard, copy subdir structure into clipboard, go to root, move to project2 direcroty and Sift+F7 + Ctrl+V(paste clipboard).
Basically I am just checking if there is some other way to do this
