Error changing directory when focusing a found file.

Post by SvA »

Today Salamander puzzled. I did a search for a file and when done I wanted to focus one of the files found. However, Salamander presented me with an error message stating

---------------------------
Error Changing Directory
---------------------------
Path: "H:\BW\"
Error: The path specified was not found.
---------------------------
[OK]
---------------------------

The named path does exists. I have full access rights to each directory level and to the file which actually is located in some subdirectory of the one mentioned in the error message.

When I further examined the cause of this error, I observed that I had entered the path to search in with two successive backslashes.

i.e. H:\BW\\STORAGE

This is usually no problem, as shows the successful search.

Could you please look into this and change the behaviour or at least the provide a sensible error message.
