Quick Rename

I just noticed that you can now in-place rename a file by "slowly clicking
the name twice". It would be nice to have this feature optionally for F2 as
well, instead of the popup dialog.

You won't miss the drop down list with previous names from the pop-up dialog?

Never used that, so the answer is no

But I see no difference between in-place edit and dialog, in both cases I can type and then press Enter (OK) or Esc (Cancel)
