I'm running Altap Salamander as Administrator (using the scheduled task trick to automatically start it with those privileges) for the few times I want to edit a file on C: (most of the time the hosts file).
I have a remote share (samba) mounted on a drive and the credentials for that are stored in Windows' credentials manager. That all works fine in explorer and also Salamander when I run it with normal privileges. But when I'm running Salamander as administrator, it keeps prompting me for login details to access the share. Checking the box to store the credentials doesn't help and still prompts me the next time (after a Windows restart).
I think it should simply store the credentials.

Re: Credentials not stored when running AS as administrator
Same problem as http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4085 and http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6110
We need to implement UAC support for Altap Salamander so you will not need to start whole process as Administrator.

Re: Credentials not stored when running AS as administrator
Thank you for your response.
Supporting UAC would be a good thing I guess.
But shouldn't Salamander store any credentials as the administrator also? I guess you're just using the credentials manager of Windows and that probably doesn't let you store credentials for the administrator.
But technically that bit, the not storing, is my issue. Either store, or else do not show the checkbox to store credentials.
