Iphone 4 video recovery

I am trying to create a disk image of my I phone 4 which is connected using WinSCP plugin. I have accidently deleted videos on the iphone 4 before backing up with itunes. I am hoping to create a disk image and then use media recovery software to find the deleted files. Is this possible? if so can anyone explain how to do this? I have tried several media recovery programs but none of them will recognise the iphone as a drive.

If I can create a disk image I was also going to try and copy it to a external hard drive so I can use the altap undelete plugin. I have tried to use this plugin already but it did not recognise the iphone as a drive either.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am working a bit above my skill level

The Undelete plugin will not work with iPhone file system (only FAT and NTFS is supported).

Try to look for some iPhone file recovery software.

Why should you create disk image to use recovery software? There are some tools to help to do it in easier way.
