... always have. Could it be a Vista thing? On my XP Pro, 1½Gb ram I've been trying to provoke it to do delays and sure, sometimes there's a delay. That is expected when changing to a directory containing 1000+ files and they are part of a CVS-repository (delayed approximately 1s).
BTW. Really looking forward to skipping the time consuming registry gymnastic. Salamander registers quite a lot and done correctly it must be much quicker to have this data stored in a file.
