autocomplete when using 'change directory path'

The only remaining feature in Windows Explorer that I wish were part
of Servant Salamander is its address bar feature of dropdown-autocomplete suggestions as you type. This is reeally handy when
you're not sure where you're going, and we keep waiting for it
to show up in the next version, but it never does. Could it, or is
there some patent protection against that feature?

Oh boy, believe me Will or not, I have been for so long hard core SS user, that I even don't know this feature of Windows Explorer. I try it just now, it's pretty useful, really.

I am just refreshing this old thread because there was no response from Altap yet nor is this planned in the roadmap and it might not be too hard to implement. Thank you in advance!

+1 from me, I would love to see this.

I use wcd on the console (like ncd) to quickly change directories, and something to quicker navigate the hierarchy would be appreciated!

I would also be interested in shortcuts or aliases, to bring some of the ncd/wcd functionality into this s/w.

I have a bunch of project directories in a huge hierarchy, and I wouldn't mind shifting faster between them... - I guess I could use the user menu for some of this as well though.
