a few things that would be awesome.

i know some of these may have been brought up before, but here's my list.

- make the address bar a fully editable text edit control so that you can type into it directly to switch directories, like regular windows explorer. going through a bunch of dialogs after double clicking to switch directories is just terrible.

- accept CLSID values into hot paths AND commandline so that special folders can be displayed and full windows integration can be implemented. eg ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

- accept system variables in paths and interpret them on the fly....for portable operation

- rework the whole HotPaths thing. Call it Bookmarks, and make them fully customizable with ability to select icons and assign CLSID and system variable paths, also definitely allow the ability to clone them between views, similar to how the drives bar can work currently.

is there any indication of progress at all on upcoming versions?
