"Or" Statement in the Wildcard

I'm trying to display five or so .dbf files out of 1000. I've used the wildcard function (%) to display only one file at a time, but I'd like to minimize the loading time by combining all five desired files into one view command.

Ideally, I'd be able to build an "or statement" into the wildcard fucntion, something like (iteration_0001%) or (Iteration_0002%) etc.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Hello, what do you mean with (%) wildcard function?

Are we talking here about Salamander's Database viewer plugin, activated with the F3 key on DBF file?
