I use WinRAR as a standard program for all archives. But Salamander 2.51 shows only it's own icons, and changes "Use simple icons in archive" does not have any influence on the program behaver.
Is this bug or feature? Can I change icons for the some files types?

Salamander shows it's own icons for "associated" archives. When you open such archive, it will be displayed in Salamander panel and handled by associated Salamander plugin.
What you are probably looking for is option to open archive in external WinRAR.
Open Altap Salamander configuration (Options > Configuration), choose the Archives > Archives Associations in Panels and remove the "RAR;R##" line.

Thank you for your fast response

No, I am looking for the solution to present file types as they are in the system. For me is simply complicated to find different between yellow folder and yellow archive icons. I would like to see more familiar WinRAR icon for all archives. As I understood it is impossibleJan Rysavy wrote:What you are probably looking for is option to open archive in external WinRAR.

Sorry, my previous post was too early, everything is working if I remove RAR from 'Archives Associations'Jan Rysavy wrote:Salamander shows it's own icons for "associated" archives. When you open such archive, it will be displayed in Salamander panel and handled by associated Salamander plugin.
