Upgrading to 2.51

Post by Eric »

First thanks for the new version.

After upgrading I have some problems with the viewer.
It seems the Eroiica Viewer wasn't upgraded. I can't view my Office 2007, and the viewer configuration hasn't changed.

Could you tell me the actual included versions of PictView and Eroiica Viewer plugin?

I have 1.15, I'm using Vista 64Bit.

Thanks
Eric

The 1.15 version is Eroiica is correct. But take into account, that it can show Office 2007 file (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) only if contains the thumbnail (it's not extracting text or graphics).

Cincura.net is right. Eroiica Viewer plugin included in Altap Salamander 2.51 can only extract thumbnails from .DOCX/.XLSX/.PPTX files if they contain them (I assume this is what you meant by "viewing ny Office 2007"). Otherwise these files are unsupported. Please note that the previous versions of Eroiica Viewer and Salamander did not support even extracting the thumbnails.
The plugin versions are listed on the download page.

Great, I was blind, I haven't see the version.
Otherwise these files are unsupported.
I have expected more when I read the remarks. But good to know.
Registered OpenXML documents (MS Office 2007) *.DOCX,*.PPTX,*.XLSX files, ZIP-ed bunch of XML files & a JPEG or WMF thumbnail

Ah, sorry for the confusion. I see that Altap took the raw internal changelog and put it to the web w/o polishing it
