What's the difference between TC plugins?

Post by dbeko »

I grabbed this plugin manager for using Total Commander plugins but can't get it to work. From reading the README.TXT file, I need plugins with a .WFX extension. I see plugins with .WCX and .WDX but very few .WFX. What's the difference and will the plugin manager support the other file extensions/types? Thanks.

Total Commander plugins are not supported by Altap Salamander itself.

There is manison's Total Commander File System Proxy Plugin available, supporting *.wfx (file system) plugins.

I know, I phrased the question wrong. <sigh> I downloaded the TCFS plugin and tried to install some TC plugins. But because I'm using .WCX and .WDX plugins and not WFX, what's the difference? And will the TCFS plugin support the other TC plugins in the future?
