i know KNUT, that's what i do right now (and others, like shift + pg dn etc.), however this discussed feature would same me some time.

but it's far from my top must-have feature, just one i would find handy.

jan perhac, i can see you have changed quite a few icon resources ;). i have small problem with folder icons in salamander, it uses standard windows' ones instead of my custom ones (which i can see in explorer and other places). what should i do?

#1 - Assign the SS shortcut a hotkey. To do this, right click on the start menu program shortcut for SS (or quicklaunch if you like) to launch SS with hotkey. I use WIN+S for mine. actually i could use that. especially when selecting files / folders to burn - for example when you would want to burn movie trailers to cds. with this feature, it would be a snap.
