Re: Batch Rename - Subdirectories

ether wrote:+1 I've encountered this imperfection several times, it's annoying little thing on an almost perfect plugin.
+1, same observation. For me, it would perfectly sufficate to have "only directories" checkbox next to "exclude extensions".

Re: Delayed Delete

+1

I encounter this use case nearly daily. The usual "Wait until other operations are complete" would be fine for me :)

Re: Add possibility to create NTFS symbolic links

Did you install the 32bit or 64bit version of LSE? As AS is 32bit, it cannot access 64bit shell extensions... I was not able to install 32bit version on my 64bit system Same here; 32bit installer quits with message " This version of LSE is not compatible with this platform. Please download the prop...

No problem :) On my Win 7 64 bit, LSE does not work within Salamander; it does not appear at all in the context menu.

Add possibility to create NTFS symbolic links

Did you ever come aross the use case that a directory or file makes sense in two different locations in your file system structure? Example: You keep private and business apart, but one dir or file is required in both environments. Having the file twice is bad, because they will have different conte...

Re: Shortcut not working

Just to bring it up again - it is hard to remember the real keys. Would be nice to see them left of the name, e.g. ü instead of ; for documents.

command shell window: start it as admin via user menu F9

In Win 7, several simple command line commands require higher privileges, e.g. mklink can't be run as ordinary user. Hence, I'd like to be able to start the command shell not only as me, but also as admin. Salamander itself seems not to support this (I searched help & forum). Hence, I tried to solve...

Re: Information Line improvements

There's only one thing I'd like to find in future versions of Servant Salamander: I'd appreciate the possibility to automatically show the number and size of all files in any chosen directory (like in the status line of the Windows Explorer). There is another thread dealing with this, just don't ha...
