drkstoner , it's nothing to do with the mobile plugin. Normally it will never give you the access to system or ROM files. If you wanna cheat the plugin - just rename the dump and reboot device - it will help you to grab the file.
Unfortunately - I can not check it - I never switch on Error report ...

I started using Altap Salamander on a Vista Business 32bit system. Quite often, after start of AS, I only get simple icons. When I run Reread Associations the propper icons show up.

Sorry, but it does!!!
I have no problems with Russian in AS 2.5 (and never had with any versions). I never used any localizations of the interface but russian file names are OK.

There are two more thing to try.
- Create a new user profile and run salamander from there.
- Are you using some shell extensions like TortoiseSVN/CVS?
