File Comparator - Un-highlight Files After Initiation

File Comparator (Ctrl+Shift+C) - Un-highlight Files After Initiation

After the Compare Files dialog opens, highlighted files should be un-highlighted?

Or should they?

Initially I was thinking that if they were left highlighted, after you had finished with the FC operation, when you returned to the Salamander window, you may then not realize that you had some highlighted files. Then, were you to jump to some other file, & hit DEL ... with unforeseen consequences.

That first thought was with the assumption that you are selecting two files (highlighting) & performing the compare on those.

But what if you had highlighted a set of files, but had not, & did not, want to perform a compare on those. They were just files you had selected. Then if you opened File Compare, picking some other files (by whatever means), in that case you probably would not want the highlighted files un-highlighted?
