Cannot open any file

I cannot open any file directly from your window e.g. if I have a word document and if I double click on that to open in MS-Word. I get the document open in MS-Word but I also get Office Reinstall screen (see attached capture.jpg file) which I am not getting if I don't use your software. Second, example if I have a file with sql extension then this file should open in SQL Server which I have installed on my machine but I am getting a message (see attached sqlCapture.jpg file).

Is this is a known issue or do you have any resolution for this?

My machine:
Windows 8.1 64bit
MS Office 2013
SQL Server 2014

Will the same file open successfully when clicked on from Windows Explorer?

Is Office "installed" on a network drive?
AFAIK, not that I know anything of Office, I don't think you can run Office across from a network drive?

You can open a doc stored on a network drive in a locally installed Office, but not vice-versa.

I have this explained in my question that I am not getting this issue if I don't use your software. Secondly, this is not a network path issue because even If I try to open from my computer C: drive I am getting this the same issue.

Do you run x86 (32-bit) Salamander on a x64 OS, by any chance? Or is Salamander elevated? Or started in some compatibility mode?
Your problem sounds very specific to your installation. I think you should ask your system administrator to have a look.

I uninstalled x86 version and installed 64bit version and everything is started working like a charm!
Thank you very much!
