Deleting folder tree containing files with unicode names

I know, Salamander does not support unicode yet. But in the case of deleting a folder tree, where the root folder (the one the delete action is primerily performed on) does not have non-ansi characters, wasn't it possible to let the system do the deletes?

I used to be able (probably in 1.6 Beta 5) to delete such folder trees by using the folder's contect menu, which then brought up the same confirmation dialog as it is in Windows Explorer and after confirmation succeeded to delete it. But this is no longer possible in e.g. 2.5 RC1.

Is there any way I can delete such a folder tree from within Salamander?

It is possible to delete such folder to Recycle Bin (see menu Options > Configuration > Recycle Bin). Delete from context menu is handled by Salamander, so this is no longer way to bypass this problem.

You can also Open current folder (Shift+F3) and Delete problematic folder from Explorer, it's the way I would preffer. :)
