Is there a way to see the directories history if I don't want to use (= display) the Top Toolbar and can't spare the space in the Panel Toolbar?

How is the directories history related to the list of recent working directories? What qualifies a directory to be a working directory?

Suggestion: Could it get a hotkey and/or be added to the Change Drive Panel Toolbar item or to the Panel Toolbar right click menu?

The history shows complete list of previous locations of a panel and directs where the Back and Forward buttons (or keyboard shortcuts) lead. Recent working directories are not panel-specific and should include only directories where you performed any actions (view, copy, ...).
