According to socat's README, it does a lot of things. Which features of socat would you like in Salamander? Can you provide examples of use?

There is an implementation of socat on windows:

But it would be nice if I had all those features in salamander.
I know that not all the features of socat are available in windows ( most of them unix related), but what is possible to implement in salamander would be nice.

socat looks GPL-licensed:

It is not possible to use any GPL code (include, link to, call DLL) with Altap Salamander. The GPL license does not permit mixing of open source and closed source software.
