Altap Salamander 3.0 EAP: network copy speed up
AS 3.0 improves utilization of local area networks. We are still not on Windows Explorer numbers, but for now it looks like nice improvement.

I really like this news. The question is: when will we be able to download EAP 3 and try it?Jan Rysavy wrote:AS 3.0 improves utilization of local area networks. We are still not on Windows Explorer numbers, but for now it looks like nice improvement.

Today or tomorrow. We are preparing and testing both x86 and x64 packages, updating website, etc.

Thank you. Will we be able to pay for the upgrade to 3.0 and get the new licenses? You deserve itJan Rysavy wrote:Today or tomorrow. We are preparing and testing both x86 and x64 packages, updating website, etc.

My result (Windows 7 (naturally) 64-bit, 1Gbit onto a small but efficient VM server). Pretty good although the AS3 utilization trend is going down. Perhaps my colleagues are working ... ?
