Portable SS

Is ist possible to load Servant Salamander without installing procedure, so I Can start it directly from a USB Stick?
There are two main problems with Servant Salamander 2.5 in this "portable" mode:
1) SS uses Windows Registry to store configuration data. For example SS 2.5b11:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Altap\Servant Salamander 2.5 beta 11
This key should be removed when SS is closed. Jiri Cincura has prepared a shell script as work around.
2) SS registers/uses a Shell Extenstion which provides support for Drag & Drop and Cut / Copy & Paste from archives and plugin file-systems to Windows Explorer. This file (plugins\salexten.dll) should not be included in the portable version of SS.
Besides these problems, there are some minor bugs (for example User Menu commands and external viewers and editors cannot be started from relative paths).
We will focus on "portable" mode in the future.
