Everytime I make a prefence change, or change something in the user bar, all my changes are gone the next time I launch Sal.

I hope you're not going to tell me that I have to save the configuration every time I make a change. That would be rediculous, so it can't be that!

Turn on following option: Options > Configuration > General > Save configuration on exit.
