Hi there,
Salamander (64bit) will not start (PC with Windows 10) anymore. After click on the exe the Salamander logo will be shown and also the text loading registry data. But the programm won't start.
Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks.

Your registry got corrupted. Open the regedit, go to HKCU\Software, find Altap and rename it to Altap.old. Then releaunch Salamander. Se if it opens.

Since today I have the same problem. Salamander does eventually start but it takes too much time. Renaming the Altap to Altap.old in the registry didn't solve anything.
In the task manager I see the Altap Salamander Bug Reporter getting activated at the same time. The Bug Reporter seems to be doing nothing as well while it consumes no CPU at all.
