Hello all,
Recently I have upgraded to Windows 11, and I had noticed, that if I run Salamander as Administrator, the right-click context menus do not show the correct associations anymore. I have WinRar installed, and used to right-click an archive file, then use "Extract... " from the WinRar options.
However, this is gone now. It instead only gives the option to "Extract All..." for zip files, but that's it.
If I run Salamander normally (without Admin rights), then I will get the WinRar context menu, from which I can then choose whatever archive operation I want.
I presume this is some sort of Windows 11 "feature". Probably programs run in Admin mode disallow some default app association.
Windows 11 - context menu does not show Winrar associations
Re: Windows 11 - context menu does not show Winrar associations
Try to run WinRAR as administrator, go to the Options > Settings > Integration and check the boxes you want. And try again.
