We have folder on an encrypted drive which is synchronized with nextcloud. The folder is visible in windows explorer but not in salamander.
Has anybody an idea what the reason is for this behaviour?
How can we solve the problem - means how can we make the folder visible in salamander again?

Salamander only shows directories, that is, whatever part of a folder is represented by objects in the file system.

i.e. Salamander does not show Desktop as does Explorer does. Explorer combines content from the personal and from the public desktop directories and adds more stuff from the registry. Salamander only shows either the personal desktop directory or the public desktop directory.

As another example, Salamander is not able to show the "My Computer" folder at all, because it has no representation in the file system.

It is likely that nextcloud uses a directory to cache files. However I do not know if this could be used like a directory with usable files. It is rather likely, but you will have to find out (or ask developpers or other users of nextcloud on Windows)
