				Hi
I just downloaded the set to translate Salamander into French.
But impossible to start "start makelang.js script in Automation plugin" from Salamander.
I've changed the directory in shell.reg, changes all, but still nothing.
How can I work?
Thks

Hi, I'm out of office. Will be able to help you from next monday.
Did you study the readme file that comes inside AltapTrl package? It is pretty detailed.

What is making it impossible? Tell us what exactly you do to start it.

				Hi
I just retried to launch makelang.js hrough Salamander. Still impossible!
Plugin Automation still has in grey the command Run focused script.
I don't know what to d (except to make all by hand)

Hi, did you left click the makelang.js (so it is focused in the active panel) before you tried to run it using Automation plugin?

It looks like you didn't install (extract/unpack)
Altap Translator package to your disk and you are trying to start .JS file directly from the altaptrl253a.7z archive. Could you please check your Altap Translator files path? Focused .JS file should be: C:\ALTAPTRL\Salamand 2.53\projects\makelang.js. Is it your case?

OK, in this case it must be
disabled Windows Script Host on your Windows or missing/disabled/unregistered JavaScript engine.
Please download prepared French projects from this post. Unpack it to C:\ALTAPTRL\Salamand 2.53a\projects
(the project path will be C:\ALTAPTRL\Salamand 2.53a\projects\french\salamand.atp)
The Salamand 2.53a comes from recently updated
Altap Translator.

				Well, it works finally.
1) should I (re)install Java (where to find it anyway) to make works the js script and avoid to copy all english.slg to french.slg for each module?
2) why there is no Search&Replace function to replace any string by another ?
Thks

I have changed it for you. BTW, you can change it under Control Panel / Profile.
