Hello,
What I really miss in almost of the GUI Based editors is the HEX Editor Support, I still use DN or PSPad for this sometimes.. So if you are planning to rewrite the editor ... this could prove to be a nice feature...

Another very cool feature would be Linux Support or better more... Independent Platform Support

I really like Salamander .. and I will start using it from now on

I have replaced my default notepad-editor <F4> with Ultraedit. Then I can hex away all I want.
