I tried Ctrl+Shift+A for automation on a selection of files in the Find Files and Directories. But it did not do anything.
I would swear I have used it there successfully some time ago. What am I doing wrong?

Use the Ctrl+A (Select All) shortcut instead.

Jan, I'm not sure you understand what I mean. My fault.

Second try:
In the list of found files (and directories), I selected some. To the selected files, I wanted to apply some automation command like I can in the panels using Ctrl+Shift+A (Open Script Menu). In this case Make List, as I needed the modification date/time of all selected files.
I remember having used Automation in the Find Files and Directories list in a prebuild version, but I can be wrong.

Is Automation supposed to work at all in the Find Files and Directories list?
If so, how? If not... why not?

Automation is not supported in the Find window. It needs to run in the main thread / Main Window.

Ok, I must have been mistaken. Too bad.
Please consider this a feature request then.
